If you ever confused when you heard, read, or see something like VNDS, DS, BNIB, or NOS. You should read this.

In the sneakers game there’s some term that used to describe the condition, type, or colorways.

So Check this out, there’s some term that you should know in the sneakers community.


DS or Dead Stock

It means the pair of old released but not too old. The condition are new, never worn, never ever tried on.

This term sounds like NOS (new old stock)


VNDS or Very Near Dead Stock

Already tried on, but still in great condition. No scuff, crease, mark, etc


LE or Limited edition

As it is, thats limited pair of shoes


PE or Player Exclusive

Made for athletes with their preferences like color, fit, type, model, etc

-Beaters shoes you wear without caring for condition

-Holy Grail Most desired sneaker that you most likely will never attain
